Intercultural Counselling

How can counselling help you?

You may not know it, but you’ve already taken the first step...

Therapeutic counselling is about providing a safe, none-judgmental and confidential space where you can explore your psychological and emotional issues with a qualified Therapist.

Counselling can help you gain insight into why you’re suffering from mental health stress and help you to heal the wounds of the past or present experience. Therapy can help to identify your wishes and needs by exploring your unique history, facilitating change and the confidence to live a more authentic and congruent life.

To support you I will be empathic and gently challenging, while remaining non-judgemental to help you find methods of coping a clear way forward. Clients taking my therapeutic service have often experienced racism, cultural and ethnic discrimination. Further might have faced challenges in Self-expression at work or educational institutions or in relationships, within the own community and family as well. I will provide safe environment and accurate empathy by listening to you or offering a different view to makes sense of what is happening to you.

  • Speak in Confidence

Counselling takes place in a safe space, where you can meet with someone who will listen with sensitivity and empathy - and without judgement where thoughts and feelings can be expressed freely with confidence.

  • Make better, healthier choices

Working together I can help you gain greater insight into the difficulties you are facing, help you understand why you act or react to them the way you do, and see how you can start to make better, heathier choices moving forward.
